USC fraternity calls women "targets", not people

Did ANYONE claim this?

No one is saying it’s the victim’s fault, but women need to have enough respect for themselves to not PUT themselves in that situation in the first place. Women need to protect themselves because no one else is going to do it for them.

Sorry, but if we’re going to be HONEST with ourselves here, women damn near to to EXPECT that if they’re going out in slutty clothes and getting way too drunk with people that are notorious for taking advantage of women, then women almost need to expect that they’re going to be in trouble- whether something actually happens or not. Maybe this way they can make the intelligent decision to avoid the situation all together.

This is coming from a survivor who never wants to see anyone go through what I did. It’s already a scary world for women- and that’s the truth. Why would you EVER want to KNOWINGLY increase the likelihood of being attacked? I will never understand.
