<p>kmart153, the vast majority of acceptances will be sent out in March for both applicants who applied by December 1st and those who applied by January 11th. These early acceptances have, in the past, been for Trustee and Presidential candidates, Bac/MD candidates, and Dean’s Scholarship awardees. Do not worry if you have not yet heard. <p>If my status was recently updated to forwarded for committee review does this mean I am being considered for maybe like Deans scholarship, I don’t think my stats would qualify me for a scholarship but does the status update at this point mean anything it seems that everyone that received it earlier had been accepted and considered scholarship candidates for Trustee or Presidential scholarship</p>

<p>My message is “forwarded to committee for review” and has been there since last Wednesday. I am on the east coast, and have received no letters, no e-mails, no update, though not sure if that is particularly unusual. Was previously on “being reviewed by admissions. You will hear by April 1” for several weeks. Not sure of the import of the “forwarded” change. Stats not high enough for Presidential or Trustee. 3.75 UW 4.45 W, 8 APs. 780, 740, 710 SATII; Average SAT. Love USC, so will just have to be patient and wait. Already admitted to UMich engineering though think USC may be a better fit. It’s certainly warmed than Ann Arbor!</p>

You may submit senior year grades at xxx, even if we did not specifically request them. We are continuing to review applications and expect to mail notification of a decision by April 1st. "
FWIW, his stats are excellent, but not perfect (2240 SAT, about a 3.8 GPA)

<p>My status also says “completed preliminary review,” and I’m starting to think this means they went over my application, but I won’t be offered any scholarships. Still hoping to be admitted though! (Note: I live in Maryland and I haven’t checked my status since I submitted my app)</p>
<p>my S’s status changed to the “completed preliminary view/sometimes request mid-year grades” thing, too.</p>
<p>My daughter’s changed from ‘viewing’ to ‘completed preliminary review’ and did not go through the ‘forwarded’ like most of you.</p>
<p>She just submitted mid-year grades electronically even though her high school already did a couple of weeks ago. Called USC and they requested her to report grades herself.</p>
<p>Any one can read into what’s going on???</p>
