USC Status Update

@tocollege: lol I appreciate your effort on entertaining us

@ mimizist  Don’t drive yourselves nuts. You all deserve to be admitted. Hoping you all are. (The statuses don’t mean anything. Really.)

einnob, that sounds reasonable to me. but again, these status may very well mean to keep us busy during the waiting just so we don’t get bored.

Thanks to tocollege =) I can’t wait to join you, really.

@ einnob, maybe! If the “preliminary” statuses start changing to “fowarded” in days/weeks, then there is a good chance that you’re right.
but even if we figured this out, it doesn’t do much haha, just that “preliminary” means we’re slower.

Toying with our emotions? Could hardly be boring…
I remember when a whole bunch of folks were trying to submit their UC apps on the 30th of November at 11 PM PST- the site crashed and everyone just felt their heart drop

@greymatters

OMG I remember that! So at 11:40ish I called a computer major friend at a grad school and he kinda “hacked” (well not really, just some fancy tricks) into the UC system and got my app in at 11:57pm. Then I got this email saying the deadlines have been extended and I was FURIOUS. My essays were all rough drafts when I submitted the whole thing since there was no time to upload the final version.

Then I called and emailed and faxed them…hopefully my chance remains unaffected.

^oh yeah…I remember that too, but didnt they extend the date for a day?

yeah we seriously need to stop with all this analysis! its hard though. LOL

hey guys, usc hopeful here too, my stats hasnt changed yet, still reviewing by committee,

sorry to repeat, but did anyone else NOT get a “forwarded” status OR the letter?

^me. preliminary status and no letter. same with thementor5 I believe.

hey funnypunjabi, what are your stats?

If I could make a graph, I totally would. Or a table, or whatever.

OXOLOJO: __ForwardedAZUndecidedCLASLetter
CDR777: ForwardedNYUndecidedCLASNo Letter
EINNOB: _
PreliminaryCAArchitecture
__Letter
GREYMATTERS: ForwardedCAChem E
___________Letter
THEMENTOR5: PreliminaryNYBusiness_Marshall__No Letter

This is starting to look interesting…

Er…wrong stats for me

Unless you have the wrong person, it’s
“Forwarded, CA, Chem E, Viterbi, Letter”

And hey, even if the status doesn’t mean anything, at least I feel like a super awesome detective by trying to figure out its hidden (or non-existent) meaning.

whoops, sorry! fixed. (:

Maybe everyone should just copy&paste from above and continue the list with their own status and pass on.
fun but probably useless, lol.

Im from California! :]

einnob, fixed!

Okay. Awesome table. Wooooot.

And all these letters ask for mid-year grades?
