<p>bwagy, who did you call and leave messages for? your regional counselor? because i want to appeal since i completed all the required classes with A’s or B’s and i also completed all of the core requirements and have a bunch of extra stuff like club officer and volunteer work and honor society.</p>

<p>I have a quick question though. Does anyone know how competitive the School of Public Policy is? I’m really interested in the program but I’m just curious as to how competitive it is. As for stats, in a nutshell, I have a 3.3 from a NY CC, but I’m moving to LA in December. I plan on going to a local CC in LA until I am a resident and can apply to UC schools with in-state tuition, but USC would be my top choice. Thanks for any help!</p>

i think i may have found my academic counselor. I’m a philosophy major so i went to their page. Clicked on faculty and one of the professor’s on the page had “undergraduate academic advisor” next to his name…i think its him but i don’t know i’m gonna try and talk to my admission counselor and see if they can verify</p>
<p>I called admissions and got really nowhere with them, they said basically that Business was really competitive this year and they required a 3.7 from a four year university (which I didnt have). So I went around in circles for a couple of days. Then one way or another I finally got in touch with the right person that said that they saw that I really wanted to go there but they couldnt let me into business and because I didnt choose a second major they rejected me. So they basically are giving me a second chance to submit a second major (which I chose econ). </p>
<p>Its really all about talking to the highest person possible and dont give up</p>

<p>okay, so I’m in LA @USC and I’m regestered and all… My counselor said I should have no problem transferring into business as long as my grades are good… I love it here!! I bought t-shirts, etc…My apartment is nice and the location is great!<br>
