<p>The following is total and complete result of all of the Fall '06 Applicants for USC. Most were for business, some for Annenberg, and two for engineering. It was a long, long ride. Those of you just reading this thread for Fall '07 should start with this list. For more detail, and the stats and the joy and hearbreak involved, consult the thread. </p>
<p>If you’re looking for ‘chances’ or ‘odds’ I surely can tell you that there are none for USC. One was rejected with a 3.72 GPA. Many were rejected with absolutely stellar stats and EC’s, and some were accepted with not so stellar stats even. Ironically, some of the most diehard 'SC fans did not get in. It’s tough to see it, but unforunately I guess that’s just how it goes…</p>
<p>54.54%. was the admit rate.
77.25% received a spring grade request.
41.17% of those were admitted.
52.94% of that group was admitted for the Spring.</p>
<p>But anyways GOOD LUCK to those who are applying for Fall '07. It’s going to be a long, long, long road ahead. But it is worth it. And you can do it. So, FIGHT ON! :D</p>

<p>technics maybe if you check your oasis site on financial aid summary it will show you. mine does. only got 2k grants, 1k federal work study, and 1k loans. :(</p>

<p>Yeah…it goes based off of how many units you have at the time you apply.</p>
<p>technics, no way. im trying as much as possible to stay away from loans. i already bought a book full of scholarships (700 pages or whatever). im just gonna apply to every scholarship im eligible to. my parents could easily pay up to half the tuition 20g/year. and im really gonna bust ars to become an RA for next year so that atleast ill get my room and board for free for 2 years (which will cut my total costs by 25%). hopefully i will have no loans by the time i graduate. what r u gonna do?</p>

<p>I’m taking out massive loans and selling off some company stock I was granted to pay for them 
I got no grants, $10K in Stafford loans and I have to figure out the rest myself. I just took out a loan for this semester in the tune of $12K. Luckily my work will pay for $6K a year, so that’s gonna help a little. Other than that, I have to sell my stock to pay for it… haha, I’m far from rich, but my EFC is $33K so I won’t get squat. Too bad I live on my own in LA… and don’t have parents that can help with anything… Thank God my company granted me this stock a while ago and I didn’t waste it on something stupid… I should have just about enough to pay for school.</p>
<p>mrpuppy about how much do you think you will earn by selling off your stock?</p>
<p>Around $65K, give or take… it’s kind of at it’s 52 week low at the moment 
perfect timing… but that’s what the loans are for, I’m just going to pay them off ASAP. I figure I’ll need about $70K total to finish my degree. Other than the stock… I have zero way of paying this back… heh, my paycheck goes to rent, car, insurance, and bills… very little is left over after that… heh.</p>
<p>So if it’s based on the number of units you have at the time your application is submitted that would mean that if I applied in OCT or NOV my HS record would be scrutinized a lot more than if I applied in DEC or JAN after my fall grades are in, correct? After fall grades are in I’ll have more than 30hrs.</p>
<p>Also, should I take the new SAT or just take some SATII?</p>
