i just need more posts.

where did everybody go?

technics, what ever happened to getting us on the guest list??

haha kid’s probably swamped with work.

Vonska- Do you know where you’ll be staying next semester?

not even sure yet bro. i applied for housing. hoping for parkside apartments since its on campus and its an apartment. they said itll be until late november or early december until they have housing arranged for spring admits so we’ll see.

i am interested in the Marshall school of business at USC. I am currently a college freshman, appying for sophomore status. i hear it is easier to gain admission as an undecided major. are the business school admissions highly selective? if so, i rather apply as undecided than to declare a major in business administration.

I am taking calculus I right now as a freshman in college and will most likely receive a B- in it but an A in every other class. will that hurt my chances, even though i took ap calc bc as a senior in hs and received a 3?

the prerequisites for transfer students to the marshall school are listed as business calculus, micro/macro economics, and writing. do the prerequisites apply for sophomores or juniors, or both? the closest course i am taking to this other than calculus is intro to business, and will take microeconomics the 2nd semester.

anyone know how the course schedule looks? when does one start taking business classes? some schools (like nyu stern) start off taking business classes since freshman year. do usc business students start off at CLAS or begin their studies directly at marshall? i need to send part i of the application soon and do not know whether i should apply as undecided or a b-admin major…HELP please

other stats…92/100 gpa from public high school in ny (about 3.65)
2250 SAT…700+ in math i, ii, french, physics

USC has a FOUR YEAR Business Program, meaning they start it since Freshman Year. But During the first year, you basically take all GE and Pre-req courses (Business Calc, Macro/Micro-econ,Writing), and second year, you take 1 or 2 Marshall Course.

I asked the Marshall Admission counselor, and she said the average admitted GPA for Marshall was a 3.78, where as the majors in the College of Arts & Science had average GPA of 3.6. So yeah, I would say Marshall would be harder.

you might as well apply to Marshall because if you dont get in there they will automatically consider you as undeclared. You could even put accounting or something as second choice and then they’ll consider you for that if you don’t get in Marshall. They will always consider you for undeclared if you dont get in your choice majors so ALWAYS apply for something even if it is hard to get into.

89 more days til my move-in date!!!

im currently a freshman at UCSD and i want to apply to USC for fall 07…just wondering what my chances are, i had a 3.9 cum gpa in high school, 2170 SAT, decent EC’s…if i pull around a 3.5-3.7 at UCSD my first quarter, do you guys think i have a solid shot? i want to go in as a bio major or engineering major…thanks

thanks for the replies. i guess i will apply to marshall considering they’ll put me down as undeclared if i don’t happen to get in.

vonska- 89 days until I offically think that you suck, LOL!

shaq- both programs are hard to get into but your stats looks solid (killer sat score dude.) As long as you get those grades, I’d say your chances are as good as anyones, assuming that your essays are as strong as the rest of your stats.

i love u too bro

haha- That response was a result of lack of sleep and a little too much alcohol.

no prob bro. u, along with many others, are still coming over for a drinkfest once i get my apartment. i havent forgotten the struggle, unlike others pps

all i can say is the working world FREAKING BLOWS. i need to go to school now.

u couldnt have said it ne better. try waiting tables at cpk in a city with the snobbiest customer base - brentwood. talk about bitch*ez.
