USC transfers.

transfer dude - i think high school transcripts are required of all transfers.

i would imagine that any sports and ECs that you started in high school and kept up with would work in your favor. i wouldn’t recommend including anything that you did freshman and sophomore year and haven’t thought about since… but if you were the star of the bball team for a few years, for example, and now play intramural or ref club sports, go for it.

and hobo, where are you from?

so, do you think i have a good chance at marshall school of business wiht 3.8 gpa. My h.s. grades were not so hot. 2.9 gpa

i’m from socal… yous till have to submit your highschool transcript

classes are getting tougher… need to start reading :)

…Bump

hobo, did you have your High School send your transcripts or did you send them yourself with your college transcripts?! Please help. Thanks.

i sent it myself since i live really close to my highschool… i think you can have them send it, but its better to send it yourself as you can add your usc id so the documents won’t get lost.

Thanks hobo, another question, do we attach that sticker to the ACTUAL transcript or only to the form that we send in?

Attach the sticker to the form.

I suggest sending the application via online, and any other application materials (Official Transcripts and such) given by hand. At least that’s what I’ve found. But of course, if you aren’t able to do that due to other circumstances then I guess don’t procrastinate. cheers

For the Annenberg transfers: Can additional recommendation letters be sent after the February 1st deadline?

^On the sheet of stickers, it says attach it to every document. I’m just going to do that.

my stickers had the wrong student id… they aren’t that important
just make sure you have your name, Social security and your student id on it.

So I’ve read basically every page on this thread. For those who are waiting for a response in July, how confident are you?

what happends when a particular school within the university wants you but the admissions don’t ?

Didn’t realize that ever occurred …

well i’m trying to say like, lets say your musically talented or had a really good portfolio for architecture, but your sat and gpa blows. so the a school wants you but the admissions doesnt. what happends?

how does usc know your total transferrable units once you’re accepted? let’s say you apply now but you still have 2 qtrs pending, do you have to send your transcripts for winter and spring quarter once they are finished? if your gpa for winter/spring07 are a lot worse than your applying gpa, will they rescind? thanks

low gpa…3.6 first semester freshman at no name honors college…2250 SAT 800 math/800 physics/ low gpa in high school…top 8%…/not too shabby ECs…CHANCES AT MARSHALL? help! please!!! thanks.

london says - haha so have i… i’m pretty sure i’ve read every comment. i don’t know how confident i am, but i would hope i have a decent shot at acceptance.

Well, my counselors have said that USC does acknowledge the fact that students are not finished with school before the transfer. Maybe thats why they ask for our spring semester classes and their respective unit values. My transcript does not include my current 2007 Winter Session. :frowning: I wish. But, if USC does ask for an update of spring grades, then they’ll probably put that into account.

Biggyboy are you transferring as a sophomore or a junior?

… cheers

i said i was a first semester freshman…so yes, im hoping for sophomore standing at USC. omg i just realized im wearing a usc sweatshirt. haha
