USC transfers.

the prereqs are on the bio section.

i hope you have those done or your chances of getting in will become significantly lower. If not, hopfully you have the prereqs for poly-sci done.

I have my prereq for Pol Sci finished. Not bio. Oh well, nothing I can do about it now. SIGH.

Guess it’s my fault for not noticing. My guidance counselor didn’t tell me squat about USC prereqs. Only the GE.

Does anyone know in what case we might be asked to submit the transcript with spring’07 grades? If asked, that means they are on the boarderline?

yeah the bio curriculem looked pretty tough to do in one year. its okay, im sure youll get into polysci, then you can just switch out later.

Is USC notorious for being slow with transcript processing? They still say they don’t have my transcripts.

i didnt send mine in yet. is that bad? (nor teacher recs) how long is toooo long??

You dont need teachers recs for transfers.

You need to send your transcripts soon. 3-4 weeks after Feb1 is really pushing it.

lol i dont want to go back to high school [there are errors on my transcript that were never fixed].

Eh, like people have said, USC won’t take a look at your HS transcripts as much if you have finished more than 30 units.

ive only completed 15 so far. i should have around 40 by the end of year (including summer). does anyone know if and when you get accepted, what date to arrive at usc?

Your on 24/7!!

Well the summer grades won’t be considered during admissions. They would only request spring grades. Rumor has it, no matter what, they’ll ask for your springs grades (if applying for sophomore) so that would mean they would put less emphasis on HS trans.

Damnit I sent in my HS transcript weeks ago and I got a letter today saying they havnt received it yet

^Same here. I’m not a big fan of sending transcripts BEFORE admission. Make decisions, then ask for transcripts. Why would they want extra transcripts from people they have rejected?

doryx are you referring to me? i should be studying law, but oh well. are transfers eligible for scholarships? ive seen some jewish ones out there but don’t know how one qualifies for them. btw, hows the jew scene at usc?

Here’s a question which I’m curious if anyone can help me with: what satisfies the Math requirement? Is it a college algebra course or intermediate algebra? I hope to transfer in as a Music Industry (B.S.) major, and the only prerequisites are macro and microeconomics. So, considering I don’t really have to take any math stuff for my major, what type of math requirement would be suitable for USC? Thanks!

i think if you completed algebra 2 in highschool then it counts as intermediate algebra.

should i send my spring grades as soon as possible, or keep my mouth shut and wait for the spring request letter ?

i would wait for the request. why would you send something they haven’t asked for? they are still sorting applications anyway.

what’s admit rate for transfers? i read it somewhere but forgot. 1300 transferred in 06 according to brochure. how many applied?

is anyone able to activate their account from sig.usc.edu?
