USC transfers.

it says that your gpa transfers over and is part of ur usc gpa…so in essence does it look as if u went to usc for ur first 2 years then? or does it say ur previous college on the transcript? or have an asterik next to the classes u took at ur previous college?

nope, you have a transfer gpa and a USC gpa.

you are 100% sure? because it says your transfer gpa becomes your usc gpa…

Once you are admitted, a transfer GPA will be established for all transferable course work; this average will be considered with your USC GPA to determine your eligibility for graduation with honors.

from the website

the way i read it is transfer gpa + usc gpa is only for honors and awards. otherwise they’re separate.

that makes sense, i’m still not 100% sure that it wont go on your transcripts though? what you said seems logical too though

I forgot to mail my supplemental application to Marshall before the March 1st deadline. Is it alright if it’s postmarked 3 days late?

andyl - call monday to let them know it’s coming! if you let them know ahead of time, they probably won’t hold it against you.

Does anyone know what the average GPA to get into psychology at USC? I thought psychology at USC is not that popular so it would be low. I have GPA of 3.45, any chances?

Need at least 3.95 to get into Psychology.

good luck Doryx if u believe so. two of my friends got into psychology with 3.3 and 3.1.

b1tch are you ■■■■■■■■?

lmao…

hahahaha.

right, so… unko - i have no idea what your chances are, but i can say this: psychology is one of the most popular majors at almost every university, usc included. you’ve got to have strong stats and stand out to be admitted to the program. it may not be one of the most difficult majors (not being an academic snob or whatever - i’m a psych major myself), but its popularity DOES make admission competitive.

Thanks Doryx, I might be ■■■■■■■■ if you say so.

Oh, is psych at USC popular? two of my friends really got into USC psych with those low GPA. i dont know wth is going on.

“good luck Doryx if u believe so. two of my friends got into psychology with 3.3 and 3.1.”

Well if you have a 3.1 you have a chance. You answered your own question. With a 3.45 you have an even better chance. Ah Ha!

hey Doryx, first you call some one a ■■■■■■■■ b1tch, then you tell them to chillax

that’s a little hypocrital if you ask me, get off the thread if you don’t want to help out. there are no ■■■■■■■■ questions, only ■■■■■■■■ people

you are right ccman2. Doryx is just being freaked out by himself. Nobody’s said nothing to him. Thats it.

"hey Doryx, first you call some one a ■■■■■■■■ b1tch, then you tell them to chillax

that’s a little hypocrital if you ask me."

What? How is that hypocritical? Have you ever used a dictionary in your life? If I told him to cillax about USC and I was freaking out about USC as well, then yes, thats ALMOST hypocritical.

B1tch are you ■■■■■■■■ is a figure of speech.

I made a simple statement which seems very difficult for these USC prospects to understand.

unko asked a stupid question which he answered himself and could also be found using google. So stop being lazy and search the board or google.

unko shouldn’t get his panties in the bunch worrying about USC. Apps have been sent, nothing you can do now can change the outcome. It’s a waiting game. Chilax.

“there are no ■■■■■■■■ questions, only ■■■■■■■■ people”

No kidding! unko is a “■■■■■■.” Thank you!

yeah, i’ve looked at a dictionary before, along with a few other books, but i’ve never seen “b!tch are you ■■■■■■■■” used as a figure of speech. maybe hypocritical wasn’t the right word. what word should be used to describe the person who wrote the following:

“Have you ever used a dictionary in your life? If I told him to cillax about USC”

backwards? just plain stupid? ill be checking the dictionary for cillax

please feel free to respond Doryx. im glad that you’re chillaxed about your academic future, but some people clearly are a little more anxious about it than you are, and you should let that go.

hopefully we can get back to the thread topic. i’ve got a ■■■■■■■■ question for any of the ■■■■■■■ out there browsing the thread: when can viterbi applicants who submitted the supplemental application expect to hear back? any input from last year’s viterbi admits/rejects?

hey. guys. can we please keep it classy? name-calling is entirely uncalled for… it’s one thing to politely suggest that someone do a little research if they’re constantly asking for information that is easily accessible, but there was nothing stupid about unko’s question.

i can definitely appreciate your sarcasm, doryx, but still… haha wouldn’t it be a ***** if unko got in and you didn’t? after you tried to put him on blast and insult his intelligence? whatever. point: “if you can’t say anything nice…” and all that good stuff.

anywayyy. can i assume that none of us have heard back about scholarships?
