<p>i just got a letter today (international, slow mail) asking me to fax my highschool transcripts. its really weird because i already finished university and i’m applying as a transfer. </p>
<p>have you guys got similar experiences?</p>
<p>and weird too because im applying to viterbi and they seem to be issuing acceptances already left and right.</p>

<p>Hey everyone… I can’t believe this thread is still around. For all of you just starting the wait… it’s probably going to be a long summer, hang in there. Last year many of us didn’t hear until late June/July… some even later than that. I personally heard 4th of July weekend last summer… so, no news doesn’t really mean bad news at this point. </p>
<p>One thing that may help, OASIS is a good trick to see if you got in, but… it didn’t seem to work for everyone (as some who were accepted never had their stuff updated). The reason for that is, your advisor is in charge of updating STARS… some do it faster than others. Last summer I was able to see my STARS report a good 3 days before I got my letter. There it showed my classes they had accepted for transfer. I was also able to see loans I was eligible for under financial aid. Either of those places are good stops to see if you’re in. Now, right now a few of you may not think 3 days head notice is any good 
but… we were going bat**** crazy last summer, just scroll back about 100 pages for proof. </p>

<p>I applied for Economics as my first choice, and Poli-Sci as a back up. I was accepted into the College of Letters, Arts and Science as an Economics junior transfer. CLAS is where it’s at… we’re all the econ, math, science, etc dorks… yet where is our license plate holder at the book store? :mad: </p>
<p>Oh and awin did you see Reyes posted the final grades… I did way better on the final than I expected.</p>
<p>I also just came to a realization. I’ve made 162 posts now on this board, and I think… save for maybe 2 or 3, all of them were in this thread waiting to hear back from USC :D</p>

<p>Atleast none of you have to go through the whole cluster **** of a wating period again. Fortunatley, things are looking good for me this semester, I’m holding a 4.0 which would bump up my overall to about a 3.6. </p>

<p>I was wondering, would it be bad if I sent in my spring semester grades when they come out before SC even sends out requests for them? or does it just make me look stupid. The reason I want to turn them in before they request it is that I would like to get an earlier response from them.</p>

<p>My major is philosophy. I believe I have between 38-42 units, I forget the exact number and would have to check to be sure. My overall GPA was 4.0 and I completed 4 of the GE requirements.</p>
