<p>I just got the letter from USC requesting for my spring grades. %$&^*#%@#!$!#$ I have 3.96 gpa and gonna finish all the requirement courses this spring. What do they wanna see? I don’t get it! My friend got in EE with 3.3gpa and I got spring grade request with 3.96. Whats up with that???</p>
<p>I just got the package today… it was dated the 10th. I am transfering from a ccc w/ a 3.91 and good ec’s.</p>
<p>bobi r u done all prerequisites by fall? I have same gpa as yours but there are 2 prerequisites in progress(Wrting, Microecon).</p>
<p>yeah, i did all the prereqs by fall… i think thats why i heard so soon. i’m only doing the second semester of accounting now and a bunch of electives</p>
<p>eracer- your buddy may have had more credits compiled. If not, then he may have had a much stronger essay. </p>

I think my essay was pretty strong, it was about becoming connected with my heritage when I visited a remote village in a third world country
My EC’s are decent, Played 2 varsity sports in High school (alternate captian on the hockey team and continued to play in rec leagues after graduating, was pretty much a bench warmer on the Lax team, but of course I didn’t say that :P), worked a bunch, had 2 jobs last summer to save money to make the move out west, Taught my self how to play 3 insturments, one of which I’m very, very good at.
I don’t have many awards, other than varsity letters and placing 3rd in an international poetry contest. </p>
<p>I applied last year and got rejected because I recieved a D in Biology (holding a full time job and taking 20 credits, but a D’s a D) but I re took it this past fall and got a B in it.</p>

<p>those of you who received acceptance letters/request for spring grades…do you currently reside on the west coast? new yorker here…could this be why? or was my application simply not strong enough to get a response as of yet?</p>

<p>im pretty much done with all the required classes i need to transfer into usc. like the GE’s. </p>
<p>I have the english requirement done, including USC’s parts 1-6 except for the obvious 2 that need to be done at USC. Also done with the diversity.</p>
<p>Anyways. The only things i will be doing in the fall is finishing off my math requirement and foreign language, which im going straight into college spanish 201.</p>
<p>So aside from those 2 classes, what else should i be taking if im practically done with what usc is asking from me? my major is creative writing so therefore there aren’t any other classes SC says i can take. </p>
<p>im thinking about filling the free class time slots with classes that will fulfill the UC’s transferring program. </p>

<p>fyi, if you dont have the prereqs done, youre getting rejected for sure.</p>
<p>yeah i wasn’t planning on attending usc anyhow. i was admitted to nyu stern so im still waiting for the fin.aid letter.</p>
