Most letters I’ve received from USC has indicated that they will send out a large batch of spring request and admission letters in June. Everyone in May just got early admission for having above the average stats. A lot of community colleges are still in session. My school is in session until the end of this week!

Just chill. You haven’t got any type of letter so you can’t assume anything. Just chilax. The ball is in USC’s hands. You can’t do anything now to change the outcome.

^^^^my semester doesn’t end until june 12, so i’m going to have to send my grades via grade cards sent by my professors or send a fax/hand in an unofficial transcript

i’ve been reading over this entire thread. i can totally sympathize with the people that applied for fall '06. i have a feeling this is gonna be a long summer.

i’ll be around here to going through all the motions with you guys. good luck to everybody! fight on!!!

Doryx- thats seriously the best news ive heard all day. All the letters SC has sent to me has gone to my house out east so I havent recieved anything. Thats a major relief since I was going on what I know from last year.

so im a transfer student from a community college and i got a request for spring grades around may 11, and so far i have a 3.94 GPA after taking 50 units, im applying to marshall school of business, i have A in micro and macro econ, and A in english 104. i think they requested my spring grades, because im taking math 103 which is calculus now. im also taking marine bio, surveying english lit. how good do u think my chances are of getting in if i get an A in marine bio, B in english and B in calculus, im really scared cause usc is my only hope, only place i applied to.

18%? Yikes. I think that the internships will help out a lot. I think that I will be at a disadvantage, because from junior high-high school graduation, I was home schooled and was too sick to go out there and get proper music training. However, some of the things I did during that time was teach myself musical instruments, teach myself how to produce albums and songs on the computer and have perfect pitch (if that means anything to Thornton) etc., etc. As I began college this year (community college), it was the first year I was healthy enough to attend, but I just think that compared to others, who have been playing in competitions, bands, etc. they will be at such a bigger advantage as opposed to me, who has just been doing all of the playing, writing and producing myself through my little home studio. But I tend to think that we’re going to have different emphasis in that major. I’m assuming you’re more focused on the business aspect, as opposed to my emphasis, which is on the technological aspects?

I got my spring grade request around 2 days ago, asking me to send my spring grades june 30th the latest. My current CCC is on the quarter system and spring quarter ends around end of june. Grades will probably be available around 1st week of july to mid july. I called the admission office today and asked them about this and they told me it’s ok. I asked the lady when will the decision be available and she said around two weeks or maybe more after they receive my spring grade. I remember last year my friend was accepted just 1 - 2 weeks before Fall semester started. I’ll be in my home country from July til August and I don’t think I’m gonna wait for my decision that long cause right now I live in the Bay Area and I have to start planning for my moving to another city. I think I’m gonna go to BU instead…

My wife was able to log into OASIS about four or five days ago, but hasn’t received an admissions letter. Is being able to log into OASIS a pretty solid indicator that she got in? She’s able to see stuff like what classes are acceptable for transfer.

To anyone that got rejected or grade requested: were you able to log into OASIS?

wowww so i’ve been tripping out because i have a few w’s on my record, and i know usc haaaates w’s. i couldnt care less if they rejected me from marshall, even though i have pretty competitive stats, but the question is, will i get into clas econ? i have like 4 w’s by the end of this year. the uc system just treats them as dropped classes. should i send in a letter explaining them all and would that even help?

Hmm, this is disconcerning. At first, it seemed to her that this meant she got in. So she submitted an enrollment committment form and paid $300. She even got a USC email account. Is everyone able to do this, whether or not they got in?

HAHA really? That’s interesting… she never got a letter of acceptance?

Can she see her star report on Oasis? If you can see your STAR report, then yes you are in. Accessing OASIS is concerned, everyone can login to their OASIS account if they applied for admission. I received nothing from USC (spring request or letter of admission) but I can login to OASIS.
