How long is sig gonna be down? sheesh

Goldenjet - I’ve visited Hopkins several times, I’m unfortunately aware of the environment, however I do tend to work well under pressure, I won’t let the pre-med nerds get to me lol.
I also was accepted at Georgetown, I’m going to visit both campuses shortly and try to make a decision. I might con my mother into flying out to USC as well, hehe.

I think you have a great chance at USC next year, and I do agree that you should start early, it is MUCH easier to work on transfer essays in the summer while you have extra time and can receive feedback from family and friends. If you didn’t submit recommendation letters this time, definitely send one or two in next year, try to make yourself stand out from the crowd with your essays, be creative, it worked for me. :)

Fight_on1, thanks! Good luck with the transfer process next year! :)

is the essay the same as last year? (i applied as an incoming freshman last year) if they are not, can anyone tell me the essay question(s)?

Is it weird that I still havnt heard anything.
My SIG did change and say transcripts are requested but no formal letter, I can now acess Oasis never had before, and they have asked me for quite a few financial aid documents.

GPA: When applied 3.75 and Now 3.82
Marshall Applicant
All-pre reqs done with 4.0
CCC applicant with a 4.0 from CCC (34 units) and rest from Univ. of Washington.

Hey guys I’m new here but I just wanted to let you guys know that after you get a spring request it only takes a week or two for a decision one you’ve sent them your grades. I’m a sophomore transfer from San Diego State, and my decision was made yesterday (only 9 days after they got my transcripts).

I just called the admission office yesterday. And they told me that they have never received my transcript (Spring grade request), which I have already sent and mailed them 2 weeks ago. So suck!
I don’t know the officer was having fun with me or not. You guys should call and make sure they receive your transcript! Good luck everyone!

If you can log on to the enrollment committment page does it mean you’re accepted?

Ya if you can log in, it means you’re in.

ThirtyOne, im taking it as you got in, could you post your stats?

They told me over the phone that they made a decision but they wouldn’t tell me what it was. I will find out monday. My stats were:

(sophomore transfer)

1st semester - 3.86
2nd Semester - 4.0

combined I had a 3.93 from San Diego State

I applied as “open/still deciding”. I got a spring request and sent my final grades in right away. I’m unsure if i got in or not because I can’t log into enrollment commitment however I got a spring request and i got a 4.0. I’m just keeping my fingers crossed.

doryX- was it down again, or have you just not gotten the new link since the upgrade??

anyone know what percentage of students get accepted after receiving spring grade request?

o and goldenjet… why didnt they accept you?

ThirtyOne, im like in the same position as you, hope we get in, and hotpapa390 I wish i knew the percentage.

hotpapa - I wish I had an answer to that question. I wasn’t missing any pre req’s, wrong what I thought were fantastic essays and my grades were solid.

goldenjet - i thought they sent u a letter saying why they didnt accept u

socal, is your finaid up already?
