USC transfers.

yeah I called yesterday and they said it could be up to another two weeks. (I submitted grades two weeks ago)

freakign school… my grades aren’t out yet and what’s out is pretty low :(

There is a La Cabana on Rose and Lincoln in Venice… one of my favorite Mexican joints in the area… especially since it’s open until 3am nightly. That gets much love. Anyway, folks who are calling… who are you calling? I’ve tried calling my admission advisor, but the phone always goes to VM and I never… never… NEVER get a call back. Can someone PM me with the number they are calling and actually got a live somebody, as I would like to check sometime next week as well now that my grades are in. Thanks…

yeah someone tell me who you guys are callnig… i called like twice and each time it seems like i got a general secretary that doesn’t know crap. For example, the last time i called i said i might not be able to get my transcripts into them by June 30th since my school hasn’t published grades yet and all he said was, “send them in whenever you can, we have time”… i’m like wat the hell, am i gonna get a decision this year or wat!?

Welcome bwagy, I see you are a new to our miserable family!

The number I call is 1 213 740 1111, then I follow the appropriate directions to speak with a live admissions pawn. He/She proceeds to tell me there has been no decsion on my application and that there will be one within three weeks (despite the fact that I submitted ages ago.)

i do the same thing and i get the same noob…

hobo, what in the sam houston is a ‘noob?’

i reckon its some variation of a boob, but i may be mistaken.
enlighten me!

its leet speak for newbie… or inexperienced person…http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Noob</a>
“The term newb itself is usually used to refer to a person who is new to the field in question, whereas noob is used as an insult.”

i was raised to have profound respect for a man who uses wikipedia. hobo, one day (God permitting) we may come to be great friends!

hobo, whats your major? how many credit you got?

For those asking who people are calling. What you all need to do is call ur regional counselor, they are the person in admissions who know what they are talking about and are actualy responsible for your application, here is the link for the counselors.
http://www.usc.edu/admission/undergraduate/counselors/admission_counselor/</a></p>

just look up your state and call that person they are the ones directly handiling ur application, so they are the ones that can give you a straight answer, I had an issue and spoke to my counselor and she was very nice and said shed do everything in her power to make sure I get notified by the time I need to tell my current school if I’m staying or not to not lose my housing deposit. They are the ones you need to tak to don’t call admissions. They can’t really help you.

I’ve called my regional appoint and never once got a call back. I’d say mine doesn’t love me.

mine called me back once but i’ve called a lot more than that. You really need to catch them while they are actually in the office. I’ve always called back if I don’t get her while she is there, and then she helps me out. I’d say call until you catch him/her. Mine has really been the only helpful person I’ve talked to in admissions.

I’ve always tried calling my specific counselor, but he’s never there. So I’ve always talked to one of the secretaries and usually I am more confused after talking with them.

I was admitted today.

GPA: 3.79
Major: History

I’ll see all you Trojans next year. Fight on!

Congrats KudosMyHero…see you this fall…

Kudos you rat ■■■■■■■…

Congrats man.

So whose still waiting for a decision besides me?

I’m still waiting for a damn decision… i drove down to USC and submitted my grades by on the june 12th…still nothing. I’ll call monday-hopefully there will have been a decision by then

yeah bro, i mailed my grades out 3 weeks ago- still no decision.

I was told that I’d have one by next week at the latest.
