<p>I think if you post those pyramid schemes or any other spam-type stuff you’re name will get deleted…and most likely after enough warnings and punishments for various things they’ll just delete you.</p>

<p>I presume your username would be banned, not deleted, if you did anything of that magnitude.</p>
<p>You’d probably get deleted if you posted vulgar or innapropriate things over and over again in a short period of time. Getting a post deleted now, and then getting another one deleted in 6 months won’t do you much harm.</p>
<p>It can’t be deleted–I’ve asked before to get usernames deleted and the mods have said it’s not possible. They just lock you out of your account if you do bad things.</p>

<p>Sometimes I regret having given out so much personal info (stats and such). But, that’s the internet…you can’t take it back…</p>
<p>I worry about that, too, Mallomar. I’m kind of paranoid. Whenever I tell personal stories, I always change tiny portions of it… so, if someone ever decides to stalk me… they won’t be able to track me down using my hilarious anecdote about band… because I’m REALLY in chorus! Hahahaha! I’m so darn tricky.</p>
<p>I guess you could request that your chances thread be deleted, but I mean, colleges don’t look on here for specific applicants (I doubt) or else Penn would have been perplexed as to why my first month on CC made me look like a Stanford hopeful. If you have a facebook account all your personal information is online anyway, and is probably still there even if you delete everything, so don’t worry about CC.</p>
