Wow, congratulations! Thanks for posting that! I hope I hear from them soon ):

Thats one beautiful image! couldn’t help but smile.

I agree with xig5591, that image is what I’ll be seeing in my dreams now haha. Does anyone know what they will do if you apply to COLA undeclared? Like what college they will most likely put you in?

And do you think that may play a role in delaying my admission decision?

Any advice you have would be GREATLY appreciated!

@ robertrulez

Did you apply to COLA undeclared? Or did you apply to a specific major? (English, Poly Sci, etc.)

The suspense is KILLING me, Every time I log into the MyStatus page my heart rate increases substantially. I applied to the Comm school first choice and COLA second choice; does anyone know when Comm decisions are generally released? I would assume that if I’m not admitted to my first choice, COLA would admit me with a 3.681 GPA but I don’t want to be presumptuous. This is going to be the LONGEST MONTH OF MY LIFE

I’ve considered going back into this thread and see when specific majors were posting if they were accepted and posting it for us, but I’ve had a lot of course work to do lately. I might be able to later this week. Unless someone else gets to it first.

yeah i would think that if i dont get accepted into cockrell i would get accepted into CNS with my gpa 3.83

but i dont know if thats how it works?

Hang in there Popparna. I think we should be hearing decisions late next week, especially the week after that! If YOU dont get a decision within the next couple of days…

@popparna I’m applying for comm too. From what I’ve seen in this thread a year ago that comm applicants were getting accepted mid April. COLA seems to release their decisions first. It seems like they start with the higher GPA’s but I’m not sure. Hopefully you and me hear something next week!!

@robertrulez thanks so much for posting that screen shot!

Congrats to all who have been accepted so far! I’m trying to keep as calm as possible but it’s getting tough ha.

@Locness - But isn’t that how it works? That’s the reason we get to put down a second choice major.

^ Yes. That is correct.

***crossing my fingers i just get into Biomedical Engineering!!!

What if you applied to COLA undeclared?

I was Lib Arts.

Side note-
Is anyone planning on applying to the Dean’s Scholars Honors Program? I wonder what those statistics are…hmm

Hello my friends at the UT-Austin thread. I, xig5591 am delighted to announce that I was seen fit by the University of Texas at Austin to enroll in the College of Natural Sciences as an Astronomy Major. I am so happy I actually cried a little. I want to thank everyone here for the support and I truly wish everyone applying gets in soon.

I must have been accepted somewhere within the last two hours because the last time I checked my status, I started watching 13 Assassins. VERY surprised it happened on Easter Sunday. I have a 3.69 with 49 credits… to me I had a 50/50 chance!!!
Austin, HERE I COME!!!
