UT Austin 2011/12 Transfer Guide

Congrats cm1251 and xig5591! I too cried a little. I wasn’t expecting to hear anything back until the end of this month. But God answers prayers =). Happy Easter everyone and good luck!

^True that my friend!!! :)

We are on the same ship to UT-Austin.
I am so nervous that my heart rate has skyrocketed whenever checking the status.
I keep my finger crossed for everyone in the thread to get in.

congrats everybody on their recent acceptance! ^^
i’m so anxious now! hopefully everything goes well for all of us. good luck to everyone!! :D

hang in there Mehrenz and miraclesofyouth, soon… :)

congrats!

has anyone applying for cockrell engineering been accepted yet?

i had Biomedical Engineering as my 1st choice
and biology(cns) as my 2nd

how will not having calculus completed affect transferring into UT CNS?? I have a 4.0 at my university

Ah, congrats everyone!!

Congrats to you all who got accepted.
Hope I could hear anything soon.

I was accepted to Biology, Entry Level with a lower gpa than is usually seen at this point: 3.73. So people around and above this might want to check their statuses. Though I wouldn’t be worried about it if you aren’t yet, as they still have to look over and consider thousands of them.

I recently called on Friday and they keep moving the date range that we’re expected to hear back from them. Before they had told me I should expect to hear back from them by mid-April. Now they’re telling me that the College of Liberal Arts usually makes their decisions between mid-April and mid-May. I saw that a Psychology major had already gotten accepted so my hope is starting to wither. ):

@uhndrayuh

I think they’re just telling you the latest possible date so that you don’t keep calling back and asking :P

But I hope you get it before mid-May

I hope so too, thanks!

@ChecksixBR
I got into CNS without Calc. with a 3.69. I’m currently taking Trig. A UT advisor told me “as long as you have some math…”. you will take calc at UT

Congrats to all who have been accepted so far!!! I bet it’s a great feeling to not have to obsessively check your status anymore ha.

Just had to join this board…Congrats to all those who have been accepted so far. For those of u who have been accepted when did u apply and turn in your documents. My G.P.A is a 3.93 with 64 credits. I applied to cns by feburary 10th yet i have not heard anything from them…(or does international student application take longer?)

I think the international students DID take longer, just going by this thread (look around April 24th, that’s when the int students started finding out, I believe). Yes. I stalk this website entirely too much.

Anyone else excited for the College of Communication to release their verdict?

@Austinchalk

You have no idea how ready I am for Communications to release decisions. :x

@AustinChalk and Breezzy - You guys aren’t the only ones! It’s come to the point where I’m going about my day as usual and then I remember “Time to check MyStatus!” and every time I’m let down :|
