<p>Tell me if you get your admission decision, I’ve heard mixed things about acceptance into Jackson.</p>

<p>@Geomajor my second choice is Petroleum Engineering so it would be Cockrell not Jackson. &Hopefully I’ll be posting in a couple of days that I got accepted :)</p>
<p>So does it mean most people who have not received a decision are applicants of Cockrell?</p>

How many credit hours you have? I don’t think grades of current semester will affect because most probably UT will have made the decision before you send in your final transcript.</p>

I should have applied for petroleum engineering as my second choice but I did not. I chose pure physics as my second choice but I’ve regretted now.</p>
<p>@chingshen I will have 30 hours after I send the transcript. It says on the mystatus page that they won’t make a decision until they get my final transcript.</p>

<p>do u guys know what is meant by decisions released? is that when they inform u if you made it? Because for McCombs internal transfer process it says it will be released on June 1st. Is that not a little early compared to previous years? </p>

<p>Go to the admissions tab in your my status page, click the recommended drop-down box…it should say Interactive Degree Audit… That should show all of your courses that transferred</p>

I have finished all the final exams and have known the grades, but the grades will not show up on the official transcript until the 17th. It is annoying.</p>

<p>I called the Office of Admission. It seems that they can only guarantee that the course evaluation for international students will be completed by orientation. My courses are all transferable but they haven’t decided whether or not they can be used to satisfy the degree requirements. The assistant suggested that I take 2 government and 1 history during the summer, which is what I have planned.</p>
<p>Yeah I may possibly take government this summer…bleh. But if you go and find your actual degree plan (usually in your College webpage- for instance, cns.utexas.edu), then you can enter your transferred courses and see if and how they’ll apply to your degree plan.</p>

<p>Hey guys it looks like I’m having a problem with my app and I can’t call until monday but can you guys help me out? I sent my final transcript on thursday showing 36 hours of transferrable credit, however on my status it still says they won’t make a decision until they see my 30 hours. I see that they received my new transcript on friday but shouldnt the status have changed by now?</p>
