I’M IN!!! Admitted to Government starting summer, 3.41 GPA, over 45 hours (I underestimated in my earlier post). Not sure if this is needed but I had two really good essays, 1 LOR from an alumnus, and a hell of a lot of volunteer hours (well over 700 through high school)

I was starting to think UT Admissions had started their Memorial Day weekend early.
When I called a about a week ago concerning spring grades, the rep you should send them when you get you final decision. If you send it in now, it wouldn’t really matter that much.

“worth it” is relative to the individual as well as to the degree earned. I’m sorry that you had a poor experience and I sincerely hope that you gain admittance and find satisfaction at UT. However, whatever school I choose will be based upon my own metrics and what fit I find best. My friend Ryan’s graduation from Yale changed his life and made him very successful. On the other hand, my buddy Damian hates Columbia, different strokes for different folks. Thats all that I really have to say about that.
I never once said my experience was poor or indicated anything otherwise. Also, I wouldn’t name drop on this site. I like the Forest Gump reference though!
