I applied for Computer Science as my first major
4.0 GPA, 65 credits
2 LOR.
Essays were great had been drafting them for ages and they were reviewed by so many of my friends and family
Java, C++, Calc 1, Calc 2, Discrete Math, Chem 1 + Lab, Physics 1 + Lab
No English classes or TOEFL required due to high grades in Higher Level IB English (Language and Literature)
Extensive Resume which included relevant work experience + a variety of ECs
I just checked MyStatus and it looks like Iāve been rejected.
OH WELL. Iāve put in my best effort for this application, if that still wasnāt enough for UT thereās nothing else I couldāve done really ĀÆ_(ć)_/ĀÆ.

Looks like Iāll be attending the University of Massachusetts Amherst instead!

Just got admitted to CNS, computer science major, 4.0, 65 credits, 2 good essay, 2 LOR from honors coordinator and physics professor at my college, a lot of ECās, extensive resume, oh and I am an international student

Ya same, Iām refreshing like crazy, especially since there have been a lot of CS decisions.
I think all that will come out today will be international decisions tho
Hey everyone! I applied as a transfer to UT back in 2016 and was accepted. I found out June 15th. I know exactly what youāre all going through. My best advice is to try and relax. It is a super exciting and anxious time but I promise no matter what happens, everything will be okay. Try and not stress over something that is no longer in your control. I got denied. I have a 4.0 mechanical engineering. With 4 recommendation letters and a spot on resume. With 54 transferrable credits. I do not know why I got rejected. I am an international student.

@ahawila yes seems to be, somebody called the international admissions office and they said majority of international students will hear back today but some will pour into Monday and Tuesday
So nothing for in state or out of state residents yet?
