I’m still in review yikes
Does anyone know how registration works?
@rusalochkaa visit this site! https://admissions.utexas.edu/enroll/transfer-checklist I haven’t attempted to register, but it looks like there’s a link to do so!
Anyone else transferring from UTSA?
@VersaceCowboy https://admissions.utexas.edu/enroll/transfer-checklist Try that link if you’re referring to orientation. If you’re working on registration, a tour I took said you would do that then, I THINK! I am not sure if I’m remembering correctly.
@rusalochkaa looks like you have to pay the commitment fee before registering. Sorry to have posted so haphazardly!
Denied mech eng.
3.91 gpa. 3 lor. 2 essays. 58 credits. Army Vet.
I don’t know what to do now, I feel like I will be stuck at ACC and never be able to transfer. If I try again for UT next Fall I will have too many credits and will be rejected again. This has been very discouraging.
Anyone need an apartment. Willing to sublease 21 rio 2x1. Reply to this comment please :))
@VersaceCowboy You cannot register until you done with your transfer orientation day. I remember you will be able to register on the morning following your orientation day
@chinford yes my friends denial straight up said “not submitted and good luck” . This one is actually encouraging you to try again and apologizing.
This link about orientation mentions you can register for classes then: https://admissions.utexas.edu/enroll/transfer-orientation
Anyone out there still waiting for CNS? Checking for a friend

I had a 4.0 and I was rejected…
I got accepted to ASE about 25 minutes ago, but as I stated, I don’t want to go there anymore
Accepted into moody for comm studies on Thursday
wow. It seems like this year was so much more competitive. Does anybody know what the deal is? Were there more applicants this year?
God my heart is breaking for everyone who got rejected today. The fact that some people with GPAs as high as 4.0 even got denied just seems insane. The competition was so much more insane this year. I could of just as easily been denied. In a lot of cases it really does seem like it was a luck of the draw. Yesterday before I was accepted I got on like a 20 minute phone call with the admissions office freaking out because I had two other colleges that wanted their deposits by midnight. She told me that she’d try to get me my decision before midnight and I think that may be part of why I got mine at 10:30 last night when no one else was getting them. She ended up telling me that every year UT overadmits freshmen because there are so many autoadmits that they’re required to let in, but a lot of the time they won’t give them their first choice in major so many of them won’t go to UT. But this year way more freshmen than expected accepted their admission to UT. So the choice to admit a bunch of incredible, deserving, student came down to numbers and space. It’s so so discouraging and I’m so sorry you guys are having to deal with this and I absolutely think all of you should appeal your decisions especially those of you with higher GPAs. I think UT really did want you it was just an issue of space. Either way I’d encourage all of you to not give up. I know it’s hard but you’ll find your way and who knows there could be another, better path for you.
Anyone else still in review?
