@kingsirry it was on a banner on the UT IT site
I just have one thing to sayā¦

@TexasHistory did you decide to go to A&M? I know this waiting is really getting to people. Iām so worried about where I will be living! Thatās my main concern right now.
@TexasHistory Thatās what Iām saying, I got my acceptance for Texas A&M back in March⦠Rolling admission >
Just got into the University of Illinois at UrbanaāChampain. What do you guys think comparing it to UT? UT is killing me:(
@Saba Congrats!! What is your major?
@Thompson2688 thanks. Itās mathematics.
@Saba Is payment for one of the two going to be an issue?
@Thompson2688 I am an international student, so I guess either way I am screwed:D I also have admission from University of Wisconsin at Madison. Please let me know which one you think is better.
@Saba UIUC for sure
@awesomesaucee How do you think UIUC compares to UT?
I need help idk if you guys know about this but maybe it has happened to someone, but I submitted my financial aid since October and before I had applied, I used to have a UT EID back from high school the problem is that somehow UT got my middle name mixed up and it put in the wrong initial. Now that I actually decided to apply it took me back saying I couldnāt sign up with my SSN because an account was already using it but of course it was the old one with the wrong initials. When they received my financial aid, it went to the old account and now that I have the one where it has my application in review, it stills says they havenāt gotten anything even though I resubmitted my financial aid. Does anyone know if they could fix this?
Itās best to contact the Austin admissions office by phone and explain everything. You could schedule an appointment and make a trip there if youāre close by. @karlaawest
@Saba Iād choose UWM. It ranks #12 in public universities on US News (if that means something), and Madison, Milwaukee (about 1hr away), and Chicago (about 2 away) are all GORGEOUS. But I donāt know how math ranks with each school
@saba I think UT beats UWM and UIUC, especially in mathematics. (Based on rankings). Also Austin is a way better location than both schools
Is anyone else planning to attend orientations at other schools just so they can already register for classes, and then see what UT says / what classes are available ?
Hey everyone. This is an extremely stressful time for me as im sure it is for the rest of you all but I have a question. I stretched myself very thin this semester in order to get enough credits to qualify for admissions (16 hours) and my grades have taken quite a hit. My GPA after this spring will probably be somewhere around a 3.2 and Iāve been trying to remain positive but it is extremely hard when you know that UT is very selective. Does anyone think that a 3.2 is admit-able? I have held two legislative internships while attending ACC and I have very strong EC. I know that grades are the biggest part of admissions but Im wondering if my resume could give me an edge. Thanks and good luck to everyone still waiting!
What is your major?
@cpereiro congrats on your acceptance!! Where in Cali are you from? I am also transfer applicant from a CC in Cali
@saba UWM is a good School.
