I really hope there is a wave tomorrow morning or monday or somethn because this whole “wave” process is frustrating…if im not accepted just give me a rejection and not keep my hopes up

yes! this is what all of my friends are saying. this whole process has been insanely stressful and with COVID creating insane delays it has been even worse for our mental health. i really want to have empathy for EVERYONE in this process including the admissions committees at these schools, but the UT Austin process has been by far the worst.
i’ve received a few acceptances and one deferral. i was notified through email for each status update. each update came on time on a set date that the school announced up to a week before the decision. very professional overall.
i am totally okay with rejections. i understand if i’m not the best fit for the school. but not even receiving an email notifying me of a status update or there even being a rejection is honestly an insult to the amount of effort we have put into our applications not to mention the application fee we paid.
anyways, congrats to everyone who got in and for those who didn’t, we will definitely find a better fit soon!

anyone been accepted to government yet?
UT has no class, zero. You can apply a month earlier than someone and you don’t hear back but they do??? How does that make any sense?
