Such bad form that regular decision applicants are getting their decisions before all of those who applied priority. This is the most disorganized thing I’ve ever seen!

She applied priority. She got her auto-admit decision a few days after her application was completed. We were surprised she got the COFA acceptance today.
Has anyone been accepted as a sociology major?
Just found out my in-state son was ADMITTED to Moody College of Communications. I’m in shock!!! I don’t usually post anything anywhere but I’ve been so encouraged by everyone’s generous sharing here so happy to share if this helps anyone.
In-state, non auto admit, applied Oct 15, private school 3.93 ACT 28. Great resume including work, athletics and volunteering. Great but not top 6% and UT has gotten so selective that I was NOT expecting this.
For those of you who don’t get in, I encourage you to consider appeals, which was successful for my daughter’s grade 2 years prior. For those of you with younger students, I highly recommend College Matchpoint in Austin (I’m not receiving anything to say so!).
I just checked 20 minutes ago, so not sure when the admission came through.
