UT Austin Class of 2025 — Regular Decision

CAPed

The wait is over. Son was not admitted but got notice to consider CAP (no email, just portal sign in showing the info). Interesting development and will take time to look into it vs. other schools.

Just got an updated message on My Status for my COFA applicant stating that they are “still reviewing the application and based on the number of applications received they must complete an additional review of the application before making a final decision” and will provide decision notification by March 1.

Wow.

OOS Bio Rejected.

Same for our son. 6.5% ranking, competitive information but difficult year and obviously competitive. All good, best of luck to those accepted today!

Just got an update on my My Status that basically said I was deferred, not because I was actually deferred but because they had so many people apply and didn’t have time to look at my application. (college of fine arts)

Rejected RD OOS

Applying to UT was the biggest waste of my time. I spent a week and a half writing all 4 of their supplements and then they put us through the wringer with the release of decisions. I was really clinging onto hope today but I was rejected and I am honestly not that mad about it after all of this. Glad I will find someplace that cares more about their students and prospective students.
