anyone know when to expect oos engineering honors program?
DD in for Architecture! Non-auto, 7%, 3.75 UW/4.75 UW, lots of leadership and ECs fit to major. I think the portfolio was a big factor as well.

Admitted to UT OOS through the UTNY Pathways Program for Moody…can anyone tell me anything about this? I am definitely interested but nervous to not start the regular “college experience” with others, and get left behind socially. Or just have a hard time acclimating. I want to learn more about it but there’s not much information on line. I’d love to speak to someone who did it, and find out if they would do it again , or have regrets, etc.

If you don’t get any answers here, you might search on past threads here or Reddit (either UTAdmissions or UTAustin) for people who have done it and message them.
The school might even be able to connect you with a student who has done it.

Thank you so much. I have searched on reddit and saw a few things but not a lot. I messaged a few girls on Tik Tock who did it and seemed to love it (by the looks of the tik tocks and comments).

DD got in OOS to the Moody UTLA program. We hadn’t even known that was an option, but it looks interesting. I’m wondering if we should still pay the $100 to get in line for housing for spring semester, does anyone know how that works when you start somewhere else fall semester?

Probably better to ask UT Housing. I think most who do UTNY, UTLA, and take the world by the horns have to get and pay for housing where they are off to and then in spring they typically sublet apartments advertised by those who graduate early or go abroad spring semesters. That way you dont pay double for fall. I would maybe go into the UT parent FB pages and ask veteran parents whose kids did these programs. Try the one called UT Austin Parent Resource Group - parents only, no students, all years represented, the admin do a great job, not like some who just want to buy your info and sell stuff.

anyone get “authentication failed” when they try to log in to mystatus again?
my WIO just disappeared randomly i was admitted in the RD round, did my acceptance get revoked? UT mystatus is saying my ut ied is not authorized
I doubt it. If you were admitted, i’m guessing you are fine - but call admissions with any concerns.
