@txapplicant23 I’m not sure. D submitted her app prior to Nov 1st. But her transcript and letters of recommendation were not submitted prior to nov 1st and she found out tonight.
Just got denied. Applied to McCombs and Liberal Arts. 33 ACT, out of state, really competitive college prep school with a lot of extra curriculars and a well rounded transcript. Alright GPA. I wish the best of luck to you all on this college process.

@KIMZ99 I would be careful about trying to get into CS from CAP. Have had a friend’s son get very high grades but could not get into CS. Also heard from a CS prof that CS took almost no transfers last year. The program at UT Dallas is very good.
does anyone know when financial aid info/ awards comes out? I was PACEed and I want to know my financial aid status before I accept or before it gets filled.

OOS - 3.92 UW, 31 ACT, president of school (4K students) 3-year Lacrosse Captain, A&E editor of newspaper - didn’t read his essays, but that is his strength so I’m sure strong.

Question- has anyone gotten their second choice major. I am wondering if with the time constraints if they did not review anyone for second choice majors.
Got capped and I don’t understand why… applied biology and psychology, 3.9 gpa, 1510 sat, good rec letters, essays, and extracurriculars… just wasn’t 10% bc of competitive school I went to. don’t understand where I went wrong. I don’t want to go through the cap program, seems like too much pain to not be guaranteed a major…
