@mancoeri you can look in your portal to see if it is there- you maybe can even still upload it. you can also use it as part of your appeal process should you be CAPPED or rejected .
I have a feeling we are waiting for a rejection. I just wish they would tell us. Also waiting for University of Miami
@tb2000 Thank you! I checked my portal and didn’t find the resume there, so I uploaded myself. I’m afraid this is still too late, but it makes me uncomfortable how UTA just ignored the resume I sent through email about 3 months ago…I’m very mad at myself for just finding out about it right now.
@tb2000 Also, it is indicated on the UTA website that a resume is required for the application. I feel so messed up right now.
Any idea when the next wave of decisions comes out?

@mancoeri A resume is not required it is optional. Not exactly necessary as there is plenty of space on the Apply Texas App to list ECs, Volunteer positions and Employment!
I wonder why UT doesnt have Summer or Spring Semester start options for freshman or even a first semester study abroad option…that is how many schools handle the abundance of freshman applications.
@mancoeri also, couldn’t you have uploaded it via the portal?
@mancoeri the resume is only required for some honor programs I think. Besides, it is common that they don’t reply to emails. I sent three emails to let them check whether they received my Dec SAT but only heard from them three weeks later and they explained that they prioritized reading applications than anything else. After that, they updated my SAT and I got my offer just one day later as an international student.

Hey, Capped student, how do y’all know your capped major?
I was accepted today to Electrical engineering today. But I haven’t heard back from the Engineering Honors Program. Was any EE student admitted to EHP yet? By when do they usually notify us?

My son OOS, petroleum engineering applicant, denied. 33 ACT, all 5’s AP’s, 4.0 unweighted, 4.4 weighted GPA. Non ranking very competitive school, probably top 3%. Many EC’s, Leasership, awards. Austin’s Loss!!!

Lots of unique ECs and leadership positions
Also applied to BHP but I was never offered an interview (probably due to my low scores).
I guess my stats just show that it’s not always about stellar test scores and top 1-2% ranks. I worked really, really hard on my essay, short answers, and resume so for those still waiting, just know that numbers aren’t everything.
