Is anyone that applied RD hearing today?
What is an appeal?? I’m still in review, but if I don’t get in I can still try to get in or what?
Does anyone knows if the GC receives a list of who is and is not accepted for their particular HS from UT admissions?
ty @tb2000
Any regular decision students recieving decisions?
Is plan 2 honors coming today?
anyone gives a suggestion cap or A&M (computer science engineering)
did anyone hear from public health today?
@QWERTYUASD For sure do A&M, getting Capped and then trying to get into UT Austin’s STEM programs are very hard and risky.
do many people get into UT if they were to appeal their decision? I got capped and am wondering if it is probable that I could get in after appealing
@QWERTYUASD if you got into Engineering at a and m and got Capped at Texas- take A and M. they are highly recruited across the US. Anyone who Truly wants to be an engineer should be going to a college who has selected them into an engineering program. There is not a good chance of transferring into Engineering at UT- from CAP, other colleges or other Majors- it just is pretty much close to impossible. if you got engineering at A and M take it- keep in mind that they do not give you your exact major at A and M engineering- you are general and then next year professors help decide who gets which discipline inside engineering
has anyone regular decision heard back
I got offered CAP at around 9:30/10pm last night
@aggiemom2022 what is DD and CNS? Yes, I also saw some posts on twitter as well. My portal still says that my application is still under review. It is super stressful! I am hoping to at least get the Nursing Gurantee program, but my chances are slim.
Has anyone heard from mccombs out of state? asking for a friend
@sanedrac22 same here, I’m nursing and mine still says under review… I wonder if we will find out today or if we get notified to wait until the 27th???
Hey, I have a question about CAP. So UTSA’s CAP program fills up really fast after the agreements can be submitted. I will not have my decisions back until mid-March so I do not yet know if CAP+UT Austin is the best option (I’m a liberal arts major). Is the agreement binding? In other words, if I completed the agreement to UTSA but then later found out that I got in to a school that was a better option for me, would I be stuck in the CAP program because I agreed to go there?
I got CAPped so looks like I am going to TAMU. Good luck to everyone else in the process!
so still confused, was assumingly deferred for 1) Biology 2) Biochemistry major in CNS. on the MyStatus it says they are reviewing my application to the College of Natural Sciences at first and the last sentence says "Click the admissions tab for information about general admission to the university… WHAT DOES THIS MEAN???
I applied regular decision and received My CAP notification at around the same time
