UT Austin class of c/o 2022 admissions

9:30 cst?
@austexlonghorn

I applied on October 31st and my app was submitted, but my transcripts were submitted on Nov. 2nd because of the time it takes for the doc upload system to work. Recs were around that same time too. I heard they’re lenient about documents closer to the deadline if your app is submitted?

Some of my normal deadline (dec 1) friends got into ut – cs too – and I’m still waiting on mine. Ahhh sorry, im just getting antsy here.

what does UT mean by faculty input and why don’t they accept portfolios for architecture majors?

@BostonPats did they call you or did you find out via mystatus?

Priority, still in review…

Do you receive an admission letter with PACE before or after you enroll? Or do you not get one at all?

@drs17m Waiting to hear from Architecture and got that same message. Good question @ portfolios. I guess they have a faculty committee who helps with selection. A family friend got in the program last year and at orientation one professor claimed he read every single essay.

Do any other CNS people have the Feb 27 date ?

my admission status hasn’t even changed ahhhhh

Hi there does anybody know the status of non auto admit Aerospace Majors

Son also denied to Engineering Honors, surprised, but grateful got into Mechanical Engineering.

OOS applicant for CS, applied priority. still in review as well.

@3XImpossible
thanks for your reply! I started a discussion here: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/university-texas-austin/2053778-ut-regular-engineering-vs-tamu-engineering-honors.html#latest If anyone else is interested in comparing ut engineering vs. a&m honors, add your thoughts to the discussion thread.

Hi there does anybody know of the status of non auto admit Aerospace

I know it’s getting late now, so I wanted to know who’s still waiting on priority decisions. Throw in stats and major if you want to.

I’m a CS applicant from Illinois. 35 ACT (35 math, 36 reading and english) school doesn’t rank, but Texas A&M says top quartile. LOR from CS professor/researcher(both idk) at UChicago and 2 teachers. Idk guys I’m getting really anxious ahhhh

Priority here, CSN non-auto in-state in review

In state engineering priority non-auto here. Idk what the heck is going on. Shouldn’t i have received a decision by now?

Got accepted to COLA International Relations and Global Studies today w a 31 ACT and W GPA of 4.35. Good luck to those waiting and i hope my stats gives some of ya’ll hope! I think my essays and EC’s helped

These are my stats : they’re a joke and I’m waiting my CAP decision after they’re whole 27th February deferment

First choice: architecture
Second choice: public health + pre med track

Rank: 18/145 : top 12%
SAT: 1150
reading / writing : 580
math: 570

Idk if I’ll get in, everyone at my school only got in by auto admit , and all my friends outside that have all been CAPped I’m the only one who got differed, because of architecture

I’ve gotten accepted to UTSA, UT Dallas, UH and Texas State and still waiting on A&M. Out of State: waiting for Boston Univ, Univ of Florida and got into Rutgers Univ in New Jersey for architecture. so I don’t know if I should do one of those schools for a year and try again or just changed to undeclared as my stats are not as good as most people on this forum, and it’s crazy how kids with amazing stats are getting denied from their first choice majors. UT is my dream school since I was kids, I gave it my shot and honesty I think I didn’t try hard enough in high school .

@3XImpossible This is the first time I’ve heard of an Eng. Honors decision, declined or accepted. Mine says still under review so I guess I’m still in the running?
