the UT portal says that my application is still in review! My application and most of my materials(initial application, rec letters) were submitted before Nov 1st, but my guidance counsellor had issues with sending in my transcript, so it was received on Nov 2nd. Does this mean I am not a priority applicant?
Bro to be honest you have a great application minus the SAT score. But nevertheless best of luck and lets hope for the best! I got rejected outright… Was surprised I didnt even get capped!
I put architecture as first choice as I really love art and I draw a lot as a hobby . it’s weird but I enjoy to draw buildings and cities and such . I really wished UT accepted portfolios so they can see my creative side and not just numbers , and I’m really anxious for their decision if I even get in. Everyone around me is rooting for me and I’m the only person not believing in myself . it’s tough

@brokenchair11 yes, finally got acceptance for Nutrition today
Has anyone gotten into neuroscience and if yes, what are your stats?
Thanks !! And best of luck to you too on what ever college you attend !! and yeah my SAT it was hard for me but I have it 3 tries and settled at that score
I’m curious about that too. I sent in the application by the Nov 1 priority deadline, but other materials (rec letters, transcript, etc.) were not received until after. My app is still under review…did that push me off priority?
my friends who applied way after nov 1 got in (closer to dec 1). Other friends who sent materials after nov 1 got rejected. I have no clue what’s happening
Earlier today I called the admissions office and asked if I submitted my application by November 1st but my transcript was in by November 10th does that not consider me a priority applicant? And they said that’s correct. So sadly we,who are in the same situation, are now being considered for regular decision.
CAP or DEFER, which one is better??
i would personally say defer because you have no decision yet and have the possibility to be fully admitted to the university
I got CAP.
Got into CNS for Comp Sci yesterday!
Well, this is upsetting to hear, as I was diligent in making sure my application was submitted by the deadline on Nov 1st. My transcripts showed up on Nov 2nd. The website clearly stated that they were allowing a few days to submit my required documents. I even took a screen shot (not that it even matters at this point). This is extremely unfair to those of us who followed the rules of the application process! Now I wait a month because someone in admissions didn’t realize what instructions were posted on my status?
Does anyone know how many people are selected for Dean’s Scholars? I only know, based on their website, that about 46 people take up the offer.
Regarding In-State students only - Does UT actually reject any Texas applicants outright, or are they all capped?
Dude I feel you. I was anxious to hear back yesterday and today. Had the biggest headache, and I was NOT able to concentrate in anything I was doing because all I wanted to do was check this website and refresh MyStatus. I’m starting to lose hope, and that’s the last thing I want to do right about now.
so some priority applicants did not hear back today?
Priority non-auto in-state still here, still in review.
Who’s gonna stay up and hang with me and wait for the next wave?!
