her rank is 8/799 ,34 act,1530 SAT,very good GPA and 12 AP, gold award in girls scout,NHS,NSS,key,lots of volunteering hours in hospital, etc.

I’m an auto admit. If I get rejected is there no way I can go to UT? I don’t want a major in COLA. I applied to CNS.

I spoke with the admissions office on the phone this morning and they “promised” me that I will have a decision tomorrow. We’ll see about that, since they keep going back on their word
@nut222 , You’re doing better than me!! I get a different answer every time I call. Daughter is a priority in state, non-auto applicant. Had everything turned in by August 9, and she is still in review, with no end in sight. Sure wish tomorrow would be the day, but we’ve learned by now not to get our hopes up.
Is there anyone who is an auto admit that still hasn’t heard back from CNS? I feel as if I’m the only auto admit who hasnt heard back.
MyStatus just updated from “We are still reviewing your application to the College of Fine Arts…we will notify you of a decision by Feb. 27.” to simply “Your application is still being considered for admission to your requested majors” with no additional messages.
I am worried as to why this changed. Anyone else noticed this or have an explanation?
@hopefulharry Yes everyone in architecture and fine arts had theirs changed to this. Mine changed from “your application is still in review” to the updated message about Feb. 27. My status changed again last week and is now back to “your application is still in review”.
My daughter got accepted into the Studio Art program in the College of Fine Arts tonight! Top 25% of her class, 29 ACT, VP NAHS, dance team captain, musical choreographer, private school that doesn’t rank. 4.1 GPA. In-state.
I was accepted a few days ago on Friday, and I was just wondering how long it usually takes till you receive your acceptance letter in the mail?
I just got accepted into their Theatre and Dance Program!!!
STATS:
GPA: 3.45 weighted. I go to a very competitive international school overseas.
Rank: My school does not rank.
SAT: 1230
AP/IB: Full IB Diploma. HL’s in Theatre, Economics, Literature. SL’s in Math, Biology, Arabic B. Overall predicted 35.
Extracirriculars: Beyond compare. Many leadership positions in the arts and service.
Good letters of reccs and essays.

@KamenRiderAgito It took about a week to receive the actual letter in the mail.
@a.martin.99 Congratulations! I’m still waiting on a decision, but I assume if I haven’t heard by now that must mean I was rejected into the program
