@nadiaSW but why does it allow me to complete a housing app and no decision letter yet? Sounds like the online system needs some synchronization.

@camcam2022 , UT allows you to complete the housing app as soon as your application for admission is complete. We did my DD’s housing app way back in August, and she is still in review.
UT Autsin is TRICKY…they will allow you to put a deposit down on housing without even being admitted. At least they did last year. My cousin paid $50 to reserve housing to get rejected 2 days later!

two years ago my sibling got an email in the middle of February urging her to apply for housing, she thought it was a sign she got admitted so she put down a deposit and got rejected a few days later.
if ut releases the applications these two days, why did some people get admitted earlier?
@18class falls in line with the application process. ApplyTexas left much to be desired with the antiquated online process.
I have read through all of these posts, and I’m still not clear on where people are seeing this CASH tab. Could someone post very specific instructions on where to find it? Beginning with what page to start on? I’m a mom who is not as computer literate as I’d like to be. Thank you!

I just used that link and I️t took me to a different place where I had the link. I think there are a view different places you can view financial aid and they give you different pages.

I’m a mom and this cash link is something I had never seen before. This is where I found it: When I log in to my daughter’s acct, it takes me to the screen “My Status” and then says “Congratulations Name; you have been automatically admitted…”. From this screen look at the very left top in small writing it says “UT Direct”. Click there. On this page, scroll down and under ‘Popular Student Links’ it says “Cash: check aid status here”. When I click on ours, it says “Error”.
I think this is what people are talking about.
My daughter is in state, auto admit but still has not heard about being accepting into her major of choice in the CNS department. She applied very early in the process. Her stats are very good so we’re waiting on pins and needles to see if she gets in to where she wants.
@Mojo1995 thank you for your reply above. As your daughter is admitted and it still shows the error then logic dictates that it is not indicative of University admission.
What do you show on “Housing Status” on the UT Direct page? Have not applied to housing yet; I show a line item with “Dine IN Dollars”; Bevo Bucks; Current Housing Status; and Online Forms.
