According to my rumor-mill based research, COLA is believed to be the first at notifying transfer applicants (tomorrow, May 1). Not sure why, but probably has something to do with size.
Spring Semester grades will be available after next week. Should we submit the updated transcript with Spring 2020 grades?
If they were released today does anyone know what time it would be at???
@ASAR2468 I guess it could be any time now
does anyone know when moody would give out their decisions if cola is first?

thank you so much!
@andrewsonnguyen I barely saw this. I applied for Public Relations as my first choice and I got in as that major. I had a 4.0 with 42 hrs (core complete) from a community college. I had 2 letters of recommendations (1 from a previous PR employer who is an exTex member and an my English professor). My resume was pretty extensive, I had a lot of PR work experience and internships – I started college late, I’m 25, so my resume was work heavy within the industry. My essays were both personalized, I talked about my Latin culture and the experiences that led me to UT.
So you received the decision from Moody today?
@James80 if you read back I had posted that I got my decision on June 12, 2019 for Fall 2019. I just thought it would be helpful.
So, I applied to COLA (Health & Society) with 54 credit hrs and a 4.0. Lots (~400 hrs) of volunteering, and 2 prof rec letters (History 1 and Am. Govt) that I believe are pretty strong. Though I don’t know if I’ll commit if I get an acceptance because liberal arts highkey bores me, so doing even more courses in liberal arts subjects is quickly becoming unthinkable (& I don’t think it’s possible to internally transfer after externally transferring…) so I’m possibly thinking of going to TXST (which is still a drive from where I live so I wouldn’t have to move) so yeah!
I waived my ability/right to read LOR’s. Did anyone else opt to waive, was it required, what did you do???
@selpaso2895 I thought so, I just wanted to clarify. Thanks.
@airball1313 Where do you live or how far is the drive?
