When did you interview ( assume you made the P1date for application) We applied in September, BHP interview mid December, McCombs entry mid January, so 48 hours to go…35/1500/ truckload of EC/IS/top 10 in class of 500
My DD applied in mid October, accepted to Mccombs in the first wave (Instate AA). BHP interview was Dec 5th. Heard nothing since then. (SAT 1550 / Rank top 4.5% / great ECs)
OOS, sent application in late October, Interview January 6th, Accepted by phone call January 24th
Given the whole priority application date deadline business…if the application was in by Oct 15, and nothing is heard today (Feb 1st), is one to assume the BHP boat has sailed? My daughter in in-state, was interviewed early Dec and has been admitted to McCombs.
UT’s handling of the whole admission process seems haphazard to say the least.
Yes Feb 1 but that is only based on UT FAQs on their web site, so close of business today.

So I talked to somebody at the BHP office. Yes, if the app was completed by priority date, the result will be available one way or another by today.
Status got updated just now under BHP tab. Below is the text. Is this a deferral or they need more time?

I got the message that my application would need additional review but then again I just had my phone interview two days ago. I was admitted to McCombs in December.
Good luck! McCombs is an amazing school regardless but hopefully everything works out with BHP!
