<p>What is Family Weekend? What do the parents do? Is it really necessary for my parents to come?</p>
<p>From what I understand, it’s not at all mandatory. But it sounds like a good time for parents to meet other UT parents, ask any questions they have about UT (since their questions should be more pointed now that you’re in school), and, most importantly, catch up with you. I know there’s a free optional bowling night.</p>
<p>Definitely not necessary, but not a bad idea for freshmen parents. Here’s a link for more info. Sounds like everything will be posted, information wise, on Thursday:</p>
