UT Onramps vs AP for college credit

My school offers UT Onramps dual enrollment and AP classes, both of which can earn college credit. I understand the different ways the credits are earned in each class, but I am unsure which credit is accepted by a wider range of universities. Which classes should I take next year to get college credit and skip those classes in college?

Unless you are planning on attending a TX public university, the DE credits will likely not be transferable

Thank you, this is good to know. I don’t think I will make it into UT, so I will probably choose AP classes.

Course Offerings - OnRamps lists the UT on ramps courses. Not all of them are in the same subject areas as AP courses, and not all AP subjects are offered as UT on ramps courses, so for some subjects, you may have only one option between AP and UT on ramps.

My school offers both Onramps and AP for English 3 and US History. I don’t know about physics and precal but I am doing onramps for those as I like the teacher and get a GPA boost, and I am going to retake physics and not do precal in college anyway.
