<p>I think these sub-forums are usually used after decisions are released. I could be wrong, of course.</p>
<p>Are they? I’ve been looking at all the other college forums and the 2015 sections had posts. I’m not sure why, but I couldn’t bear looking at that “never”. It was just too tempting.</p>

<p>Joesam - my name basically is what it sounds like. UVA or Bust! I’m currently a senior and UVA has been where I’ve wanted to attend since middle school. I’ve been a fan of their sports teams since I was younger than that as well! I really can’t believe I will know if I’m attending UVA in 3 days… Insanity!</p>

<p>Hey is it true that it’s significantly harder for out of state students to get into UVA?</p>
<p>That it is Confucius. The acceptance rate for OOS students is around 22%…</p>
<p>Very confusing decision process on the part of UVA Admissions–I was accepted at honors programs at 4 major universities plus scholarships, a 4.09 GPA on a weighted scale where the max is 4.09, plus National Merit Semi-Finalist, yet wasn’t accepted at UVA. Not quite sure what they are looking for as I know that students with much lower credentials are accepted at UVA. Glad the process is over!!</p>
<p>Got my acceptance! Now…decision time on where do I actually go? UVA great school with 0 scholarships available for first two years. VCU, acceptance into Honor’s College and BME w/almost full scholarship… Why can’t UVA get with the program?? looks like my mom will keep UVA acceptance letter in frame while I am attending VCU due to funds…dang! what ever happened to that money tree I thought we always had??</p>
<p>Did anyone receive an invitation email yesterday? I assume they went out as planned. I know it is a really small group, but thought we might see at least one CC member receive an invite!</p>

<p>UVA’s out-of-state decisions this year have been head-scratching to say the least (from my small sample size)… But I shouldn’t be in this thread; it’s for the Class of 2015, which I am not a member of.</p>
