@bg4spam - it looks like roughly 46% of total EA applicants were either deferred or admitted.

More accurate to say:

59.3% of in state applicants deferred or admitted
41.1% of OOS applicants deferred or admitted

Early Action Applications
Total number of Early Action applications: 25,160
Total number of VA apps: 7,250
Total number of OOS apps: 17,910
We use completed applications in our statistics.

Early Action Offers
Overall offers: 5,219
Total VA offers: 2,502 (35% offer rate)
Total OOS offers: 2,717 (15% offer rate)
Enrollment Goal: ~3,750
It’s misleading to average these offer rates together because residency is a major factor in our review. If you are going to share these numbers, cite BOTH offer rates.

I checked my portal, and my decision was there. I was deferred.

Edit: 3.9 UW, basically all honors and AP, 36 ACT, lots of ECs & leadership, OOS, engineering for CS

Denied! Tbh my gpa is only 3.4 and my ACT was only a 25! Congrats to those who got accepted.
