UVA 9-digit student ID issued to newly enrolled student?

<p>Has anyone (newly enrolled 1st year student) gotten their official 9-digit student ID number? Please advise how to apply for it after you accepted and made the deposit? Thank you!</p>

<p>You already have a number, there is no application for it. Go to the Orientation page and look at the FAQs if you can’t find it.</p>

<p>I have the same question. I found the email with confirming receipt of my application and it contained my computing ID, password and what was supposed to be my student ID number but it is only 8 digits. Do I have to add a zero in front or back of it?</p>
