Essays (rating 1-10, details): Common App was 8/10, good and showed my personality, but it was written more like a short story which could go either way. Supplements were 7-8/10, showed my weird passion for bio.
Recommendations (rating 1-10, details):
Probably ranging from 7-9/10, submitted 3 teacher ones plus counselor. Best probably are bio teacher who saw my preservence to get in a lab and counselor who knew how hard I worked to keep up with academics while struggling with some personal stuff.
