@ahmedvvs Yes Ahmed it’s normal, a lot of us have received it. UVA doesn’t defer transfer applicants, although you can get waitlisted. But they wouldn’t waitlist these many people for Commerce. What I think is likely is candidates that received interviews have made the shortlist, but I’m not 100% sure.
@h68123 what are your stats like? @msport said he knows of transfers who haven’t received interviews and got in. Do you have inquiry access denied for 2020?
Has anyone who applied to engineering noticed any changes in their SIS account?
@gnpy123 Thank you, best of luck to you as well!
What does “Inquiry Access Denied” mean for just 2019? Does this not have to do with the known indicator and should I not read into this?
Can someone please walk me through how to do this? What are the steps? TYIA!
Does it mean anything that I can search for classes?
To the person who said that McIntire interviews were for “on the fence applicants”, I don’t think that’s true. Since so many people got interviews, I doubt that they would have enough time in 5 days to deliberate which ones get accepted or not.
Yikes. I’m at the School of Architecture, and I didn’t get an interview.
@oceansquare I meant for McIntire. I’m not sure about other schools.
@Mcjester Pretty sure everyone can do that
For those keeping up… I didn’t apply for financial aid and had “No Financial Information Available” for the longest time… and then I ended up submitting my FAFSA about Tuesday and by Thursday my financial aid became “Inquiry Access Denied” but only for the year 2019… Any thoughts?
@Confusedaf98 Well if they knew who they were going to admit/accept then why would they request interviews in the first place? I personally know 5 people within my circle alone that got interview requests, and that’s excluding the people who have posted on college confidential. Think of all the people who applied and got requested for interview who don’t post on CC. It seems to me as if this interview can seriously make/break an application - but then again, I really don’t know. It’s all speculation at this point
@klm63amg To me, it seemed like more of a verification process or the opportunity to bring more detail to the application. But you might absolutely be right.
Hi!! I have another poll for something that I am interested in!! (If you haven’t done the one on page 39 you should)
I am curious about who has items on their to-do list and who does not! I have had “inquiry access denied” 2020 for one week now and I don’t have anything on mine. I am 90% sure that the items on the to-do list are from SFS/IDOC and it is a random financial aid verification thing because I was reading about it a while ago!!
“AGREE” this if you have items on your to-do list
“LIKE” this if you do not have items on your to-do list
One thing I found WEIRD though… I logged into my FAFSA a couple of days ago and it said it was last accessed on March 27th, meaning that must have been UVA looking at it?! Idek anymore guys
I have items on my to-do list with a due date of 5/11/2019. I am no longer interested in UVA but just passing along info to whoever it may help.
The items requested were tax forms and also a CSS non custodial parent info thing. Just financial aid stuff. Hope that helps
ALSO forgot to mention I applied to the arts/sciences college. I’m not a McIntire applicant
i’ve checked back on cc threads for 2017 and 2018 fall transfers, it seems like all those that have had ‘inquiry access denied’ were accepted. most of them seemed to be CAS students, but there was one accepted into SEAS in 2018 that didn’t apply for finaid and said their SIS showed ‘no finaid information available’.
the previous threads didn’t seem to talk about what years did/didn’t show though.
