@onlylivelifeonce Me!!!
What is the consensus for the financial aid only saying âinquiry access deniedâ for the year 2020? Anyone else have this, or have you seen what it could mean from years past? --Current UVA student asking for a friend applying
@hopefulopeful go to dean Jâs office and ask her plz
@Dre51298 Trust me. I have been all over Peabody Hall looking for any sort of information :neutral: I wish they would give me a little something!!!
@hopefulopeful i donât think previous threads except for 2016 mentioned having only 1 vs 2 years of inquiry access denied, but it seems that just having inquiry access denied listed followed the trend.
i guess when we post decisions we should post it with what we had listed, including the years for those with inquiry access denied. yâall weâre so close!!
@hopefulopeful I donât think theyâre going to tell you. Theyâll probably tell you a generic answer like, âOh we do that for everyoneâ
@hopefulopeful The consensus is that most people have it for 2020 if they are first-time applicants.
@klm63amg I have it for 2020 and I am a second-time applicant!
My college uses SIS and when I hit âView Financial Aidâ it says â2018 Academic year 2017-2018â and â2019 Academic year 2018-2019.â I donât have anything for 2020, I did not send them my Fasfa for this coming school year.
Im shook, one more day
wait I saw someone said 40 hours left? are we getting decisions tomorrow?
Yeah possibly! I really hope the no info found is not necessarily an indicator of rejection. Weâll see.
@sophia1997 I just called sfs because I thought I was missing docs. They insisted again no info found just had to do with that they process transfer aid late
Yâall Iâm not ready for the sadness that comes with not getting in
Iâve mentally prepared my self for the worst
Same!!?
@Dre51298 I hope thatâs true⊠thanks
Hoping for the best but expecting the worst
Iâd like someone to explain to me why inquiry access denied means nothing for my own personal situation.
Last year I applied (also applied for aid on time) and my account remained âno financial aid information foundâ and I got rejected.
This year I am applying (also applied for aid on time) and my account changed to âinquiry access deniedâ early April.
If it doesnât indicate acceptance then last year I would have gotten inquiry access denied. The whole thing that it doesnât mean anything doesnât add up. At least for me.
What do you guys do or tell to yourself if you donât get in? Any suggestions on how to manage rejection if it happens?
