 do you know how decisions will appear on the portal? is there a line that just says blankly “accepted” or “rejected” or is it something more interactive/bigger-scale? (I know UIUC has a bubble that you click and if you’re accepted it says congrats ur an illini"

the portal is new this year. last year they came out on SIS.

@hopefulboy37 Last year, when it was in SIS, it said View Decision, and when you clicked the link, a virtual acceptance, waitlist, or rejection popped up. Now, with the application portal, I have no idea how it’ll work.

I am so nervous and I have so much papers to do btw does anyone know if our gpa can be carried on to UVA? I know some schools does not count gpa for transfer and u basically restart

Did anyone receive an email regarding the release of admission decisions? A new post about the wait list was posted earlier today. When I applied to UVa in the past, I initially received an email notification of posted decisions on the SIS portal. Good luck everyone!

@UVACollegeApplicant as a general rule, the credits will transfer but not the grades. On their site, it says that basically restart once you get there. But if you’re trying for a competitive major, they can look back at other school’s transcripts. But that’s on a department by department basis.

does anyone know if uva does graduation distinctions like summa cumlaude etc.
