@ZZZXXXZZZ UVA is not the only school that does the degree audit after final grades. UCLA is the same way. If you are an in-state transfer, I wouldn’t worry TOO much about credits transferring. Most states have a system in place that make it easy to transfer credits. If you’re out of state though, like myself, then there is some concern. UVA has a credit analyzer on their website, but my college is not on there. Maybe you could check that and see if your college shows up.
Edit: Apparently only CAS offers the credit analyzer. I’m not sure about the other schools.
@RTCRTCRTC Not yet. I am still waiting on the admission packet and the financial aid package. I am assuming the admission packet will take some time for me since I am across the country.
@goodreads The transfer blog said that financial aid packages will begin being released this week. I have not received mine yet, but there is still tomorrow.
Does anyone has “Asset Information Request” and “Family Income and Expense” on your to-do list? Should I complete them or wait until I receive aid packages?
Nevermind I found it. I just got off the phone with financial aid and they said they need the items in your to do list before they release your package
Just received my financial aid package. Wow!! Turns out my noncustodial parent’s income had a very minimal effect on my fin aid. They’re offering full out of state tuition plus plenty for room & board. Sweeeet!
@klm63amg Yes. I received an email from Student Financial Services around 12pm (pacific time zone) today saying that I could view my fin aid package in SIS.
