UVA nursing

we are in a quandry. D has been accepted to all her colleges including UVA, she did not expect to be admitted so now we are scrambling. should we visit, is it worth the OOS money, when she got merit at other schools? We wanted to do a day on the lawn but they were taken up quickly. We have planned a tour, but she needs to see the nursing facilities etc… it is hard to get past the initial admissions people. Any info on the nursing program would be gratefully appreciated.

What are your other choices?

Last year, they added additional Days on the Lawn after the initial days were filled up. Even if you don’t go on a Day on the Lawn, you can try to set up an overnight stay with the Monroe Society, and can attend a regular admissions tour.

The nursing education building is a large brand new building. Most of the hospital buildings are also very modern.

I’d suggest talking to the nursing dept. directly - they probably can give you a tour and info even if there is not a formal event. UVa’s nursing dept. says that almost everyone offered admission accepts admission, so I’m sure they’d like to talk.

Please let me know what you need. Admission is definitely here to help! We have information about scheduling a visit with the School of Nursing right on our website! :)
