<p>I live in GA and i cant decide on staying in state and going into the UGA Honors program or spending a lot more money to go out of state to UVA… what do you think</p>
<p>I know this would be extremely controversial on this board. However, UGA has been extremely selective this year with regards to their honors program. They are both large state schools but the honors program at UGA puts you in a small group within a state school at a price tag aprox 100k less than the price of a 4 year stint at UVA. Getting into UVA instate is definitely easier than getting into UGA honors. The bottom line is either place is what you make of it. A degree from UVA is not a path to automatic success</p>
<p>If UGA is significantly cheaper, then go there.</p>
<p>hey! this is the only advice I can give on this: research both universities out and decide where you will be happier for 4 years…after all its not all about studying, its about the experience right?</p>
