Looking at the RD admissions of the students from my Ds school, UVA seems to be using different criteria for RD than EA. in EA many lower stat students got in but many RD students with better stats got waitlisted with an option to do one year study in Wise campus and guaranteed transfer to main campus.
I am not saying it is wrong but they should have been clear on the evaluation criteria for EA and RD, which obviously seems to be different based upon admissions. It seems better to apply in EA than RD similar to all other colleges and UVA is no different.
Anyone know how good is Wise campus? It is like penalty to go to that campus? Earlier UVA offered two years in Wise campus and guaranteed transfer to main campus. Not sure how many took that option.
