Does UVA allow you to send only one ACT/SAT score, or do they require all to be sent? The website says “We hope you will submit all of your scores knowing that we will recombine the sections to get the best possible set of scores,” but my best scores for every section came from one test date. Also, does anyone know whether the early action deadline is for all materials or just for the Common App? I know, for instance, that UNC allows test scores to be received for a couple weeks after apps are due. Thanks!

Here’s the deal: The CB’s Score Choice forces students to pay to pick scores. If they use the free score reports, our system will pick the best scores anyway. So, do whatever you want, but know that the free option results in the same scores being used as the method that requires you to pay.
If we were one of the few schools that would kick your file to the dustbin on November 2 if everything wasn’t submitted, we’d have a note on the website about that. But late submission of credentials delays the entire process. I’ll remind people of this in January when they are asking when decisions will be ready.
