UVA Transfer Fall 2016

Hi everyone! So I’ve got a bit of a weird situation… I am an undergraduate student looking to transfer to the University of Virginia in the fall of 2016. I graduated from high school in 2013. I attended James Madison University for two years and unfortunately earned a 2.4 cumulative GPA (with about 61 credits). I decided to transfer because the environment at JMU was unhealthy. After researching, I found the Speech Pathology and Audiology program at UVA, which is what I want to study.I knew that I would not be admitted to UVA, and so I decided to transfer to Northern Virginia Community College in the fall of 2015 and take a year’s worth of courses. In the fall of 2015, I earned a 4.0 GPA with 14 credits. I am now enrolled in 10 credits in the spring of 2016, and so far I have maintained all A’s. Additionally, I earned a 3.4 GPA (7 credits) doing summer courses at Howard University during my time enrolled at JMU. I am looking to enter the University of Virginia as a third year, and I am applying to the Curry School of Education to study Speech Pathology and Audiology. Can I get some tips on anything to add in my essays when applying for transfer? I appreciate the help.
